    Returns/Cancellations

    If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request within 10 business days of the receipt of the product. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it, offer you store credit, or offer you a refund, less 25% restocking fee, based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned within 10 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee in addition to the 25% restocking fee (totaling 40%) will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging.

    Please note that we do not permit the return of the following products:
       1. Special orders and products that are custom configured to your specifications.
       2. Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.
       3. Firearms, once transferred to buyer.
       4. Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics and night vision equipment.

    NOTE: We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you chose not to use a carrier that offers tracking and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.

    The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before USPS will initiate a trace. The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.

    Used Firearms

    The seller provides all descriptions for used items. All descriptions for used items are honest and based on actual items being offered for sale. Items being sold in this manner will be marked as such. All sales on used items are final. Photos will be provided when available. All machine guns are considered used unless otherwise noted.

    General Firearm Sales

    All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering. You must be 18 or older to purchase a long gun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun per ATF rules, but state and local laws may differ and you will need to check your local laws before purchasing a firearm.

    All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.

    Consumer Data Privacy

    We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.

    The Credit Card Billing Information, Shipping Information, and Contact Information in our checkout process are required in order to process your order and deliver the product to you. We store some information for accounting reasons. Your information will not be shown to third parties not involved in the transaction, nor used to send you any unrequested information. The entire Checkout process is handled through a secure SSL-encrypted connection.

    The Credit Card Billing Information is sent directly to our payment provider who processes your credit card transaction. The credit card information is neither recorded nor stored by us, and it can only be accessed by our payment provider. Each transaction has a very high level of security. Your credit card details are sent directly to the payment provider over a secure SSL-encrypted connection. They are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction, nor are they stored on our server.

    Secure Transmission

    All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) featuring 128-bit encryption. A Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate creates an encrypted link between a website and a visitor's Web browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the website and the browser remains private and secure.

    Order Fulfillment

    All orders are shipped promptly from our warehouse within 3 - 14 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx.

    Online Price & Description Errors

    Our online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer's credit card or we will refund the money.

    If an item's description contains an error such as incorrect photo, price, accessory or description and a customer makes the order, we will not process the order without first contacting the customer. If the order is mistakenly shipped, we may advise the customer to return the item in an unopened condition and we will refund the customer. By placing an order, the customer agrees that Nova Armory will be the final arbiter of discrepancies in the online catalog.

    Ammunition Purchases

    You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations. *All ammunition sales will comply with local and state laws and will not be shipped to any restricted areas.*

    ALL FFL ITEMS POLICY

    As a Federally Licensed Firearms Dealer, NOVA Armory will have all FFL items shipped to a valid FFL licensed dealer. All ammunition sales will comply with local and state laws and will not be shipped to any restricted areas. All ammunition sales, and powder/propellant sales used to make ammunition are final- no returns or exchanges.

    All other sales are final when placed on the website- no returns or exchanges are accepted unless the item is unopened, undamaged, not fired, not transferred via federal form 4473, box or container is not marked on, is returned to NOVA Armory at buyers expense and buyer agrees to pay the restocking fee, credit card 3% fee and shipping fees.

    All items returned for credit or refund that meet the terms and conditions listed on this site must be pre-approved for return or exchange in advance by calling 703-566-2814 and receiving a pre-authorization to return an item. The item must be returned by a licensed FFL and it must include a copy of the FFLs license in the box. NOVA is not responsible for damage during shipping- seller must obtain insurance from shipping company or seller is responsible for damage incurred during shipping. All refunds will be paid by check after 6pm on weekdays Tue-Fri or by appointment on Weekends as we need to ensure we have someone on site with check issuing authority.

    For online sales it is up to the customer to be aware of the firearm laws for their state. Any questions please call and ask.

    AMMUNITION PURCHASES CONTINUED

All orders placed on this website incur a 3% credit card fee that is paid by NOVA Armory. Any returns or requests for refunds will be issued less the original 3% credit card processing fee, plus the additional 3% credit card processing fee to issue the refund. The refund will also be less a 25% restocking fee that is charged by the distributor when sending your items back. The refund will also be less the shipping fees incurred to send the item back.

    Buying an NFA firearm

    NFA firearms are divided into seven types - Machine guns, silencers, Short barrel shotguns, short barrel rifles, AOW's and Destructive devices. For all practical purposes these can all be considered pretty much the same in the way the transfer process is handled by ATF. These types of weapons are legal in most states (see our legality map) and are easier to require than many people realize. In fact if you can buy a handgun at your local gun store ATF will most likely approve your transfer of an NFA weapon. We have had very few customers denied transfer of an NFA weapon. There tends to be a lot of confusion about how the NFA transfer process works. The following is a brief description of the process, designed to help our potential buyers understand what is required.
    First it is helpful to understand an NFA weapon is a registered weapon. These can be owned by individuals, Corps or trusts. The NFA branch of ATF must approve transfer of these types of weapons from one individual or entity to the next prior to transfer of actual physical possession. You can think of an approved transfer document as a title so to speak, and the said weapon to be actually titled to its owner. It is a serious violation for anyone to possess an NFA weapon which is not currently titled to that person or entity and is therefore important that the item remain with its previous owner until the NFA approval of transfer is received.
    ATF regulations require that an NFA weapon be transferred to its new owner from a class 3 dealer in their own state. For this reason, after payment is received for an item purchased, we submit a request for transfer by submitting an ATF form 3. This form 3 is submitted to the NFA branch of ATF via fax and is currently approved within 30-45 days. When approved NFA branch will physically mail the approval to our office. We will not be able to send the NFA item to your dealer until this approved form is received.
    When your NFA item is received by your dealer, it will be time to inspect the weapon. If there are any issues we should be made aware of, this is the time. We stand behind our product with an unconditional 3 day inspection period after your item is received. If needed we will refund the purchase, or repair the item. Problems are fairly uncommon but we want you to know your satisfaction is important to us.
    Your local class 3 dealer will work with you on submitting a one page (front and back) form called an ATF form 4. The dealer normally completes the front of the ATF form 4 with information about the firearm, serial number, etc. as well as his FFL numbers and info. On the front page your name or trust name will be listed as the transferee of the item. You will normally complete the back of the form and will attach a passport size physical photo of yourself. Fingerprints are also currently required. The CLEO sign off is no longer required. This is a big change as this means your local law enforcement agency will no longer be able to block your acquisition of legal NFA firearms.
    After your form four is ready to send, it should be sent in duplicate to NFA branch along with a one-time 200 dollar tax payment. The NFA branch will do a background check and verify the document sent is correct prior to approval. You will be able to check on your transfer via phone, but will need the serial number for the item in order to check. The process times for items going to individuals, trusts and corps vary based on ATF work load, but have been averaging roughly 4-6 months. When the item is approved NFA will send the approval to your local dealer. At that time it will be legal for you to possess your new NFA firearm!
    The NFA purchase process takes time, and is frustrating for some because it takes a fair amount of time to actually acquire the item purchased. It is however, worth the wait. Most of our customers very much enjoy their machine guns and silencers. It’s an amazing privilege to own these types of weapons and is a privilege not available to law abiding citizens anywhere else in the world! Due to the 1986 ban on further production of machine guns for civilians, these have become the most collectible firearms available. Our sources tell us there were approximately 250,000 registered transferable machine guns when the 1986 ban was put into place. Due to various causes of loss, there are now approximately 186,000. As a result of a decreasing supply and a vastly increasing demand, these have been an excellent investment. It may be a wise decision to invest in machine guns as part of your retirement portfolio.
